Zamość Main Square

Zamość - my hometown and the beauty of medium sized cities and surrounding nature

Last update: 22-08-2025

This shrine includes completely unprofessional and sometimes personal desriptions of villages and towns in the vicinity to Zamość, that together make a region that is not exciting but very chilled and worth visiting if you like relaxed places.

Polish culture for global audience [WIP]

Last update: 06-01-2025

Polish culture has a lot to offer but it's not as recognizable as other cultural powerhouses of the world. We don't have that many vibrant cliches like French, Italians or even Scottish, much smaller country that made absolutely everything they possible could to be distinct from English. In this shrine I'll try my best to compile modern Polish culture into a bunch of examples that I know and/or personally like and further explain the meaning of each entry from my perspective of born and raised Polish guy.

This shrine will be merged with the future 'Poland' multi-page section of the website in 'World Review' folder.

Malls in the context of cities and architecture, RIP Tesco Poland [WIP]

Last update: 06-01-2025

I have a love-hate relationship with malls: I love maps of malls, massive architecture and planning that is undertaken to build those things, I hate actually going there, except for food, necessities and some useful junk once in a while. They are impressive but often disrupting parts of urban areas and I'll give some examples of malls I personally visited in various Polish and European cities.

Siemens, Sagem and Sony Ericsson phones [proposed shrine of 2025]

Before the smartphone era has begun, I owned three types of phones, in order: Siemens (basically a brick in the last year of my kindergarden), Sagem (cool flip-phone) and Sony Ericsson (monumental jump of capabilities and memory available). This little shrine will be my brief rundown of my experience of innocent days of "dumb" phones and maybe some extra electronic gadgets like the noname discman or usb mp3 players. Good times.

If I ever start making this shrine, I might expand it into a shrine about european phone brands in general, as they are kinda extinct.

Collage of 4 series: The Office UK, The Office US. Parks and Recreation, Severance

The Office based shows [proposed shrine of 2026]

For me The Office UK, The Office USA, Parks and Recs and Severance is in the same wicked universe. I mean, not really, but it's fun to image, I love those shows, each in different way.
